The Carroll dilema

floyd the barber · August 27, 2011

After spending massive amounts of money, plus adding players to support and supply him with the kinda crosses he thrives on....we really do look a far better team with Carroll not in the side.

Last season when yes we was injured, we looked awesome with a front 3 with either kuyt and maxi either side..when Carroll did appear we looked slow in attack with a lack of movement.....this season and again we look better with Suarez with kuyt ,henderson and downing assisting.

Now yes early days still for Carroll but he doesnt look anywhere close to be being match fit. He came off the bench today and really was dissapointing, lack of movement..slow with the ball at feet and no real desire to get in on the end of some fantastic balls by Downing.

Right now, hes gotta work harder on his fitness and slowly get him integrated into the side, theres definete talent there...he just has to buckle down and start working in training, cos my right now our best 11 doesnt include him.(at least in my opinion..obviously )
