Bigal Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Man United. Dont want the shower of s**** to win a game of scrabble
Swipe Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Everton to win and then get f***ing tanked by Arsenal or Chelsea in the final
Knox_Harrington Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Man United. Dont want the shower of s**** to win a game of scrabbleThat changed for me the second Aurelio's free kick hit the net. We need United to feel like anyone can beat them, at any time and for them to be s***ting themselves. I know it's hard but there's greater good here.
Sion Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 United, can't risk the blue t***s winning anything (imagine if they did and we won nothing! Imagine the open bus parade around Prestatyn, sickening) and the final on the 30th is another game for united to worry about, which could be useful if they do what looks likely and reach the CL on the 27th
The Hitman Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Everton-no question. If they beat United, there's no way on god's green earth that they'd beat Arsenal/Chelsea in the final. Not a snowball's chance in hell.If anything,it'd be worth it to see them lose in the final.

Gravy Posted March 24, 2009 Author Posted March 24, 2009 Everton to win and then get f***ing tanked by Arsenal or Chelsea in the final That's the way I see it as well. And if Everton do bear United they will be in the midst of a "crisis" at the business end of the season.
Andy @ Allerton Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Everton to win for me. Not much of a shock me saying that I'd imagine

And if Everton do bear United they will be in the midst of a "crisis" at the business end of the season. Is the correct answer. Every game that United lose now, regardless of the competition, will further damage their morale and help us.
Tosh Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Everton While we are stretching credibility...Imagine the fun of the peoples club coming home with the FA cup while we had booked the open top bus to parade the league and Champions League (I can dream, can't I?)
Chili Palmer Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Everton to win on penalties after a very physical game. Then to lose the final. (which I want Chelsea to win as I would love to see Arsenal not winning anything for a while yet)
ManxRed Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 (edited) Everton. If Man Utd lose now their confidence might crumble even more. That helps us. If Everton get to the final just think of the hilarity preparing the open top bus, the parade, the DVD, the website raffle prize of the socks Jo wore to go to Wembley in, the sound of Wembley stadium reverberating to the chant of 'HANDBALL' every five minutes, only to see them get tw*tted 6-0 by Arsenal's kids in front of a worldwide audience, after being THAT close to winning a trophy. Its the gift that keeps on giving. Edited March 24, 2009 by ManxRed
charlie clown Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Everton to win and then get f***ing tanked by Arsenal or Chelsea in the final I'd go for that.
Swagger Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Everton to win and then get f***ing tanked by Arsenal or Chelsea in the final Agreed. Everton to win on penalties after a very physical game. Even better, moreso if several manc players were to sustain serious physical injuries.
Des Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 That changed for me the second Aurelio's free kick hit the net. We need United to feel like anyone can beat them, at any time and for them to be s***ting themselves. I know it's hard but there's greater good here. And Everton would lose in the Final anyway.
Billy Dane Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Everton to win, with Roooooonnneeeeyyyyyy and Ronaldo to get sent off, with the Neville brothers having a scrap in the centre circle on the final whistle.
Bigal Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 (edited) cant keep turning a blind eye to this, everton, may win in the final. and this is very bad news. however, if there was a fight, would they dock ponts off each other, or would that only be in the league?? Edited March 24, 2009 by Bigal
Billy Dane Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 I think it's good for the game if a small club wins something every now and then, particularly as we are no longer involved.
fred milne Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 This was posted by an Everton fan on RAWK Hello LFC supporters, as you may have guessed from my user name I am a blue, and have wanted to post on here for a while but now I feel is quite a good opportunity. I am touched by the sentiment of the OP and all those that agree, I don't personally know anyone who was killed at Hillsborough, but that makes it no less tragic. I know a lot of people dont agree with the OP and I can understand some of the negative comments in this thread, considering some of the abuse that gets hurled around at derby matches, but as someone mentioned earlier, it is by no means a one way street. I have heard equally disgusting things sang about Everton players in recent seasons, but that is what happens in football. Every club has scumbags who sing that s***, and for the record, I think its f***ing vile to sing about any tragedy such as Hillsborough or Heysel. These people are not true football supporters. I have many good friends (in fact most of my friends) who support Liverpool and know loads of reds through work, as well as having a lot of family members who are fans, and that doesn't make them bad people, any more or less than supporting Everton makes us bad people. Feel free to hate the d****eads, but to tar us all with the same brush is unfair. In relation to the original topic, a thread appeared on Blue Kipper on the day (I think) that this one appeared, and I think you should all be aware of it. I'll post the original post and some of the responses and I think you will be shocked at what you hear. We are not all bitter, twisted vile people, and I think some of you need to be made aware of that. Anyway, I come in peace, so tell me to f*** off all you want, but thats my 2 cents. Here is the post and just a few of the responses. There was 2 negative responses (from what i remember) in a thread 106 posts long: Hillsborough flag My friends dad is a red and he has asked me that if everton get to Wembley, to remember the Hillsborough 20th anniversary if i would take a flag saying "NEVER FORGET THE 96 - MERSEYSIDE". He said that he will get the flag made in blue and white colours and that he will also make me another one of my choice relating to everton. Personally i wouldn't mind doing it and can't see any harm in doing so. The fella lost a nephew there who was actually a blue but went to Hillsborough that day with his mates who were all reds. Could anyone see any problems with me doing this for him? jamie881 i would be f***in proud to hold up or see a flag like that in our end......... were all scousers at the end of the day, everyone in liverpool knows someone or someone effected by hillsborough Mclovin I dont think its a problem at all a flag like that. But on a side issue, please wait until we get there though before getting it made, I remember the last quarter final we played against middlesbrough<shudders> blueser that would be fantastic to see kie Fantastic idea, anyone who thinks otherwise is abit of a g******* to be honest. orlandoble Be a nice gesture to do the flag. It's not about football but about the city of Liverpool. I was at Villa Park that day and it should of been a day of celebration, but turned into a day of misery and mourning. bluepeter There still 90 mins to go before Wembley so let's no get carried away but it would be a really good gesture and if we can progress in this competition we should do all we can t make sure the people who died are remembered nationwide and not just on Merseyside. BillyBullens If we get to the semi, it will be a few days after the 20th anniversary of the tragedy. i would absolutely love us to have a massive banner with RIP 96 or something on it. i would also love the people of bluekipper on our 'hopeful' prgression to the semi after March 5th to set the wheels in motion and maybe stick a donate link on the forum so we can all throw a fiver or something in for the making of the flag. Great thought mate well done balggy looking at how close it is to the anniversary it should definitely be done. I think reds usually mention consulting the relevant groups if anything is done regarding remembrance. But I can't think of a better place to remember it than an FA Cup semi final 20 years on.
Billy Dane Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Be great if they do that, would go a long way in stopping the growing bitterness between the fans IMO
Chili Palmer Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 This was posted by an Everton fan on RAWK It would be a great gesture if they do it.
