Coming out after the match last night me and my two brothers are coming up the steps from our seats which were pitch side in the Madrid end. There's steps coming down as well and we spot a bloated Gray and Martin Tyler coming down.

My brother shouts

Andy Gray!

Andy Gray!

Andy Gray! and the third time he stops and turns round and looks.

"You f***ing blue s****!"

"You blue nosed b*****d!"

To be fair he knew he'd been done, he was beaming laughing.

Match coverage I had in the US was fantastic - just a commentator, no co-commentator, and no analysis at HT. Just meant all the commentator could do was be descriptive about what was happening, no opportunites to start a discussion about why Rafa hadn't started with Gerrard, or why Torres was foolishly taken off...

I was amazed Keys didn't mention Torres coming off. 'He didn't look too happy to be coming off there, did he Ruud? Will be interesting to see if he starts on Saturday'.

I just joined a facebook group advocating the sacking of Keys and Gray for being c****.

Take THAT Sky Sports!

There is a fair few anti Andy Gray groups

Still a bitter blue

Andy Gray: My Everton spell meant so much

"My time at Everton was, without doubt, the most successful, and probably the happiest couple of years that I've had.

"We had a brilliant couple of years, brilliant team-mates, fabulous friends, great togetherness and a huge desire to succeed, so if you put all that together we did okay!"

When he arrived at Everton the Blues were five places off the foot off the First Division, goals were in desperately short supply and Howard Kendall's swoop for a supposedly burned out striker with dodgy knees was seen as the act of a desperate man.

But the Scottish gladiator enjoyed a glorious Indian summer at Everton, his boldness and hunger for the ball enlivening team-mates on the pitch, and his effervescent energy and charisma off it imbuing his team-mates with a winning confidence.

He won League, FA Cup and European Cup Winners Cup medals – scoring in the finals of the FA Cup and the European trophy, and asked about the never to be forgotten Bayern Munich semi-final he said: "It was one of those special nights that come along very rarely in football.

"If I go to my grave with one game in my mind, and only one I can take with me, then it would definitely be that one."

I wonder who Tyler was commentating for then? certainly wasn't sky :hmm:

Quite... because it was Rob Hawthorne who was co-commentating with Gray for SKY.
