carrafan Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Whats up with him? Will he be here till next year or have there been any offers this window? Could use the couple of million euros we get for him.
richwilks Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 No chance of getting much of a fee for him now.
alias75 Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 just think of the money we've wasted on French based players sitting out their contracts.
Maldini Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Apparently his attitude is disgusting and he spends as much time in pubs as he does in Melwood.
Hassony Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Apparently his attitude is disgusting and he spends as much time in pubs as he does in Melwood. a bad influence on Plessis as well apparently it seems tha Big Wayne knew what he was talking about after all
Zoob Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 (edited) He represents one of the worst sides of modern football. We'd agreed a fee with another club, but he wasn't willing to take a bit of a wage cut in exchange for playing football. So he's spent this season not even getting anywhere close to the reserves, while coining it in. disgusting. Edited January 3, 2009 by Zoob

alias75 Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 to be honest, none of us here would accept to taking a paycut when changing jobs The pay cut would still mean hes earning a huge amount of money each week . It boils down to the question do you want to play football and earn a little less or have no chance of playing and earn more money. I think most professional footballers want to play, of course if your talking about a huge pay cut you could understand but i don't think that was the case with Itandje. If hes a bad influence the club should do what Chelsea did with Bogart and make him train on his own or pay him his contract but tell him they dont want him at the club anymore.
richwilks Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 to be honest, none of us here would accept to taking a paycut when changing jobs He's not doing his chances of future earnings much good building a poor reputation for himself. If he's gone to Galatasary, took a paycut which would have still seen him on huge wages he could have proven himself and moved on to a better deal in the future (or blown it and sat out his contract there). Instead he's kicking his heels here and there's unlikely to be a queue of clubs willing to take him on the wages he was being offered originally by Galatasary. I read a report about how Rafa scouts future players and gets reports on everything from their diets to their personal life, attitudes etc. Based on this it's hard to see how players like Pennant and Itandje got close to Anfield.
Joxer Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 We should have just let him go on loan with Gala paying a percentage of the wage, rather than him pissing about for his full wage and messing Damien up.No? For sure?
KD07 Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 If hes a bad influence the club should do what Chelsea did with Bogart and make him train on his own or pay him his contract but tell him they dont want him at the club anymore. Apparently his attitude is disgusting and he spends as much time in pubs as he does in Melwood. Apparently he said, "The whole world is about three drinks behind.”
New York Red Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 a bad influence on Plessis as well apparentlyit seems tha Big Wayne knew what he was talking about after all He knows his sh*t does Wayne.
Stevie H Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Apparently his attitude is disgusting and he spends as much time in pubs as he does in Melwood.can we not sack him? since his job description is 'goalkeeper' and he's not doing his job?
Gray - YPC Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Spike his drink whilst his out... 'Random' drugs test the following day.... Sack him to get him off the wage bill... Well if it 'allegedly' worked for another crap keeper down south, then why not here?
KD07 Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 They should put that in the law...we have Bosmans and Bosniches.
Murphman Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 A player comes in knowing he's there as back up only and is not going to start any matches unless the undisputed No. 1 gets injured. That's a strange mentality unless you've already had a chequered career and are getting shedloads of cash to sit on the bench. Then we wonder why he isn't keen on taking a pay cut to join a lesser club where he will become No.1 and play every week, which is what he could have done before he came to Liverpool as a bench warmer? Think about it.

That's a strange mentality unless you've already had a chequered career and are getting shedloads of cash to sit on the bench. Or you are confident in your ability
Murphman Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Or you are confident in your ability If he seriously thinks he had a chance of shifting Reina that's pure lunacy not confidence.
Gunga Din Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Or you are confident in your ability He will also have been told he wasnt wanted and wasnt going to get games.
Jacks Jackie Jackson Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Be honest, who can blame him? If someone's soft enough to pay you massive amounts of money to sit round doing nothing, you'd take it. You'd rip their arm off to take it. I would and that's a fact.
Sion Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 our favourite mr dependable Charles Itandje was spotted grinning and messing around during the service on Wednesdayas if sucking thousands of pounds off the club for doing f all wasn't bad enough

fabfive Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 He actions at the service were unprofessional and disrespectful. And i'll leave it at that without calling him every name under, around and through the bright light in the sky.
