They are a tough team to play. Strong at the back, physical in central midfield, goals from the back, midfield and up front, more than decent ability on the ball in the final third. Teams from around Europe find it really tough playing PL teams now, because not only is there the high tempo physical ability to deal with, but also now the ability to play a bit is coming through. It's across the board

I do go fairly often yes - I enjoy watching football.

 

I also go and watch Marine, Southport and other local teams from time to time.

I'm with Andy. We need them to be distracted by the UEFA Cup

 

It's not distracted them so far this season, if anything a win will give them great confidence. I hope they get t******.

They are riding high, they think they are getting back to the big time. It will dent their confidence to get beat here and then they have an away game at the weekend after travelling away midweek.

 

Interesting game as Everton are doing well, they haven't looked all that convincing when getting past lesser sides in the UEFA but maybe they'll raise their game for Fiorentina.

Just realised Sunderland have the best home record outside the top 6. Played 13, won 7 drawn 3, so they might have a better chance at the weekend than i gave them credit for. Cue them lying down for Everton now.

Everton WERE in the EC a couple of seasons ago. He's probably forgotten, as it was a brief fling

 

There were never in the European Cup, they didn't qualify for it. :bleh:
