Rimbeux Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 I dont hold it against him getting injured so much, it's not his fault, but we should have read the tin before handing him a contract.
jon_hall Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 He went off injured on saturday. Has Mike been that pissed since then?
Mike Posted February 5, 2008 Author Posted February 5, 2008 He went off injured on saturday. Has Mike been that pissed since then? thought he was just s***, seriously.
jon_hall Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 thought he was just s***, seriously.Nope was a thigh muscle tightening he went off for. Still doesn't answer the important question though, you still pissed?
surf Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Broken funny bone. it's all those injuries, he's not laughing anymore
Walrus Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 I read that as Agger injured again. Thank God, I'm seemingly dyslexic.
McBain Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Need a new LB in the summer Insua as back up Not sure where the Insua love comes from. He's not even made any squad this season has he? Given our shyteness at fullback this season he's either nowhere near ready or not very good
Earl Hafler Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Rafa shouldn't be rotating him in. In a game, out injured. Straight back in, out injured. He should have to prove his fitness in the ressies, ergo, he should be sold / released. He and Kewell. What a wonderfully constructed sentence
baz2107 Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Start Riise against Chelsea at left back at least he has the big game experience, then give Insua a run in the side, can't see the point in having these talented youngesters if they only play ressie football and the odd end of season league game

Riise plays well in big games. Insua looks well ready for the step up.
Dan Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Not sure where the Insua love comes from. He's not even made any squad this season has he? Given our shyteness at fullback this season he's either nowhere near ready or not very good I don't love him, just think he's played well for the ressies and needs blooding in the side.
Maldini Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Not sure where the Insua love comes from. He's not even made any squad this season has he? Given our shyteness at fullback this season he's either nowhere near ready or not very good Don't think it's either, I've no idea why he hasn't got a look in this season, he's very good. He can't do any worse than Riise has.
Guest Kaizer Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 (edited) Don't think it's either, I've no idea why he hasn't got a look in this season, he's very good. Alonso Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Yes he can, he can be on Aurelio`s level. Personally I dont think Insua is highly rated at all by Rafa.Which is why he turned his loan deal into a permenant one in the summer as part of the Paletta deal.
Guest Kaizer Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Which is why he turned his loan deal into a permenant one in the summer as part of the Paletta deal. You could always see it as the only way to get rid of Paletta.
Will Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Does anyone actually have any information about how badly injured he is? Or is this a pointless bulls*** thread of waffle?
Stevie H Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 i didn't even know he and kirkland were related. the magnificent glass brothers.
MFletcher Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 You could always see it as the only way to get rid of Paletta. What rubbish. Paletta went to Boca - the Copa Libertadores champions. It's not as if they were strapped for cash and we needed to take someone to balance the deal up or it wasn't going through.
Foo Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 It was well known that he had an injury record longer than the Old and New Testament before he joined. Not exactly impressed sadly either as I liked him in Valencia, despite his injury record.
