Guest RedLegend Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Arsenal without Fabregas, Hleb, Flamini, Van Persie and Diaby apparently. Any chance they could drop a few points tonight? Then again when you look at who they're playing.
Sion Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 I secretly fancy Newcastle to give Arsenal a good game. Think Arsenal will edge it 1-0.
Stevie H Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 so they can still play a midfield of eboué, diarra, gilberto, rosicky? i reckon they'll be ok.
Swagger Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Wenger can play himself in midfield and they'll still win, thats how bad Newcastle are.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 The geordies have to stop losing sometime. Get on them. Or a draw
Rory Fitzgerald Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 so they can still play a midfield of eboué, diarra, gilberto, rosicky? i reckon they'll be ok. A midfield of Ray Parlour, David Hillier and Steve Morrow would be good enough to beat Newcastle !
Rory Fitzgerald Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 The geordies have to stop losing sometime. The Newcastle players have agreed that this will happen when Sam Allardyce is sacked !
Bigal Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 doesnt matter who arsenal have in midfield, newcastle wont score a goal tonight
Rimbeux Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Arsenal are more about their movement as a team over individuals. It really does need a team capable of putting them on the back foot, they don't defend that well.
Guest RedLegend Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 so they can still play a midfield of eboué, diarra, gilberto, rosicky? i reckon they'll be ok. Hardly stellar though. Then again it is only Newcastle.
Stevie H Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 why doesn't allardyce play a front six of: milner - butt - barton - nzogbia viduka - martins that's not too bad. if he stopped pissing about with 4-3-3s and players absurdly out of position he might get somewhere. their defence notwithstanding of course.
Tones Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 why doesn't allardyce play a front six of: milner - butt - barton - nzogbia viduka - martins that's not too bad. if he stopped pissing about with 4-3-3s and players absurdly out of position he might get somewhere. their defence notwithstanding of course. Now that would just be sensible. You dont expect Sam to sensible do you?
Guest Sabre Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 I think Newcastle will put in a great performance. 6 nil Arsenal
Bootle Buck Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Let's hope this is one of those games that defies any logic and the barcodes pull off a shocker. The a*** certainly have a few key players missing and a trip to the North East on a cold December night might do them in. Newcastle 2 v Arsenal 1
