Garay, Kompany, Chielini, Anelka, Diego, Quaresma, Benzema, Nasri, Suchy, Naldo, Martinez on and on and on...

 

Who would you have us sign? Who would you REALLY want? Why?

 

I'd have the lot of them... ;)

The two Lyon lads look really exciting. I mix them up, but I'd have the more No 10 one of the two. I'd love us to sign Anelka.

 

No ideas on defence, really. Don't know a lot about Kompany.

 

I'd like Quaresma, he has his flaws, but he's an out and out winger who'll worry defences. I don't want us compromising yet again on a wide-ish player who prefers to come inside. Chalk on the boots. You only have to look at the effect Kewell has to realise how someoe liek that would add to us. Not sure the likes of Nasri are in that category.

 

I'd also the moon, on a stick. Please.

I know it was only one game, but Quaresma did not shine yesterday against Finland in Porto. After reading Kaizer raving about him here, I was expecting a lot more. He wasted several freekicks and seemed to blast all his shots high. Eventually he was subbed. Sad to say but Placcy was much more effective...

Having watched Micah Richards put in the laziest full back performance ever (when you're caught up field, try running rather than sauntering back you lazy prima donna c*nt) I'm astonsihed at the hype and ratings he keeps getting- he's woeful. As is that f*cking Klingon.

 

And before Kaizer says we should consider him, Quaresma can f*ck off and die, the diving schithouse.

He's really a center back, though. I think he'll be one of the best.

Centre backs don't need to sprint back to cover then? Ronaldinho puts in more defensive grunt then he did yesterday.

One of them per position, highest priority first :)

 

LB: Chiellini or Lahm if possible

 

CM: Kompany would be very good, not seen anything of Garay but a very good younf CB around 20/22 would be ideal.

 

SS/FW: VdV, Diego.

 

Winger: Silva, Mancini, Quaresma

 

Striker: Villa, Anelka, Milito, Huntelaar

I agree John. It's bloody hard to think of who to jettison. I swear it used to be that years ago it was clear who LFC should buy (Kenny, Digger etc). They were the best available and we'd just go and get them.

 

Ohhh I know it's so pointless but I love to do it.

 

In an ideal world I'd get rid of Carson, Riise, Momo and possibly Crouch.

 

I'd pick up Garay for sure.

 

Chielini to accompany him at the back but I think he is a real long shot for us now.

 

Kompany still doesn't do it for me. Not that impressive in my book and the injuries are an issue.

 

I've hated Anelka in the past. A complete d*ckhead. But, he does seem to have calmed down as he's gotten older and the thought of him up front with Torres really intrigues me. Still probably not worth the risk though.

 

Diego is hot as a pistol right now. But, I can't see where we could ever fit him in.

 

Quaresma seems pretty enigmatic. Looks great at times, doesn't give a f*ck at others. Rafa would be the right guy to straighten him out, but I don't know if we would be grasping at straws for the next placcy.

 

Nasri looks great. I think we should make a deal to get him even if it is for next summer.

 

Benzema looks great too. Big and confident and just wants to score. I'd do the same kind of deal for him as Nasri. Let him mature a little more.

 

Suchy I've never seen, but he's gotten great write ups. Anyone know more?

 

Martinez I know nothing about either.

 

Naldo looks good but I can't help but think that he could be a disaster in the Prem.
