Went to the Stanley game today. He played awesome. Easily man of the match. Grazed the bar in the second half with a towering header. Nice neat player. Just stops the attack, and then passes it to midfield. No fancy pants mucking about. Just stop and get rid. Commanded the defence, always shouting at the rest of them and getting them in line with him. I reckon by the sounds of it he is gonna be a bit of a cult figure whilst he is there. Some of the Accy fans call him 'God' already!!!! Really chuffed to see him. Best bit for me, was when Accy scored in the last minute he loved it. After the game he looked so happy. He was hugging everyone, and seemed overjoyed that he was on the winning side, plus he seemed to be a real hit with his team mates. They all ran over to him and everyone was shaking his hand. Top top bloke. Also good to see him get the experience he needs, because to be honest, today in that game, it was all rough and tumble. Bobbly pitch and some hard hard tackles. He got booked in the second half for nearly taking the leg off one of the torquay players. Awesome tackle. Spun the bloke clean in the air.

Didn't David Martin also play for Stanley? how did he do?

reading a comment on the Accrington forum, and it said they hadn't seen a Stanley goalie have so little work to do - mainly cos Antwi was hoovering everything in front it seems!

It's good for Accrington they have a central defender and a goalie who are already used to playing together.
