IF David Moores stands down as Chairman, what should we buy him?

Early doors, I know AND it's not over until the Fat Lady sings etc etc plus there's a slim chance that Mr Moores will be asked to stay on as Chairman but, if not, what could you buy him that he'd cherish?

He already has a season ticket;

I guess he's got a few signed LFC shirts in his collection;

It may be too late for him to turn out as centre forward for the last 5 mins of a Carling Cup match when we're 10 nil ahead.

I suspect that the 'Moores Stand' in the new 'Rashid Stadium' is already a given.

My suggestion would be the world's biggest Thank You card signed by 44,000 fans....

A European Cup replica.

I guess he's gone to bed with the real one a couple of times ... although I suspect that Uefa have the design rights, they might agree to it...

Get him oin the pitch, let him do a speech, clap him for 10 minutes sing YNWA, Lap of honour, Shake hands with our Dubian over lords

Something along those lines

But... but I thought most wanted him sacked as a good for nothing idiot who only had his own interests in mind? :ohmy:

What can you buy a man with more money than sense.

A mosaic would be nice for the guy.

well, i hope that he stays on.. hes been an absolute gentleman and is link to heritage.. We should be indebted that we have been lucky to have a red through and through as our chairman.. Whilst, we are at it look at what Edwards did to Man U..

Oh yes, so grateful for the work Moores has done. He was bequested nearly all his shares and it's very good of him as such a ''huge'' fan to try and make as big a personal gain as possible. It should never have been so difficult to sell us in the first place which gives the impression he's got what's right for him in mind first. He's been an average chairman, no better.

Your right, Moores should have given away all his shares for nothing to the first people who came along.

An average chairman?

Putting large sums of money in to the team,often with little in the way of reward.Giving his managers time to try and turn things round.Never going running to the presses or to Sky Sports whenever things go awry and keeping things in-house.

Giving the go-ahead for Rafa and the successes that followed,whilst recognising that perhaps he cannot take this club forward to compete with the likes of Chelsea and Man Utd.

I think he's done a pretty good job,to be fair-always conducted himself the Liverpool Way.

Would you rather Simon Jordan,Doug Ellis,Glazer,Abramovich,Romanov?I could cite a thousand names to justify my point.

Did you know Simon Jordan is going out with Sophie Anderton. Slightly off topic but read it before.

Some Kenwright who is always in the media but has no money is surely the worst combination

He is about to make £160 million profit on his shares

He has done a brilliant deal for the club, by the looks of it with DIC and we should all be grateful for that, but he will walk away a very, very rich man

Or he wanted the best deal from the club? I know which I think is the right answer.

He's been a very good chairman, backed the managers as much as possible. The one criticism I can think of is he sometimes has been too attached to the methods of the past.

I don't begrudge him getting full value for his shares.

I think he has been a good chairman. In a period when we have struggled to compete with other teams he has still delivered

some of the greatest results in our history and not a bad return of trophies over the years. If we have a go at him for the bad things then he must take credit for the good times. Don't want a chairman that is forever in the papers.

Would anyone on here swop No 5 for anything, I doubt it. The club has to a degree been funded by Moores over recent years and we have spent a lot money. Yes he will sell his shares and recoup some of the money his family has invested, I for one do not have a problem with that. He is liverpool through and through, A great send off is required if he goes.

I for one hope he stays on in some capacity at the club.
