Can people not understand, if the players agent won't play ball you struggle to make progress. The agent acts on the players behalf. Maybe the rumours he wanted to come were false.

The manager was given a budget, spent it on Borini and Allen. Then tried to sell some players to get in forwards. Think he needs to look at himself as well as Ayre and the owners. In life nothing is guaranteed, Allow Caroll to leave when replacement signs. Looks like Chelsea did that to us with Sturridge. Maybe Ayre messed up big time, we will never know. To say Rodgers was misled is a big leap into the dark. Where was he on deadline day, should have been at the heart of the negotiations pushing through a deal or even better concluded the deal weeks ago before Allen. We were overloaded with midfielders (possibly not the quality we want), it was up front where we struggled last year and will this year. Young manager, will learn from this, naive to say the least. Move on and stop the blame culture.

Manager has 25+ games to sort out this mess. needs to identify 5 forwards for Jan and sign at least 2. If true that Fulham were never going to sell Dempsey to us and kept pushing up the price, then I'm happy we backed away from the deal. If its a case of we could only offer 3m, then I'm disgusted and the owners need to ship out. Suarez and Borini + kids need to stay fit and pop in a few goals. Midfield and defence are solid, we just need to strengthen up front. Could be a rocky 4 months. If everyone can stay fit and the new lads settle in we could just about survive. We need to add quality not quantity. Keeper and back 4 good enough. Midfield needs more pace and a playmaker. If we could combine this into 1 player would be great. Up front we need quality centre forward to support two we have Reina Johnson, Skrtel , Agger, Enrique Gerrard, Lucas, ? or Downing ? , Carroll, Suarez Squad Doni Robinson, kelly, Flanagan, Coates, Wisdom Henderson, Adam, Shelvey, Sterling, Coady Bellamy Sell or phase out Jones, Gulacsi Carra, Aurelio Spearing, Maxi, Cole, Aquilani Kuyt No more loans, If no buyer they stay We need squad cover up front, not sure anyone in the reserves ready to move up so may have to buy. Hoilett from Blackburn or even Dempsey may be good for the squad.

Spearing messed up for both goals. 1st would not happen if he made decent contact with the ball, he left us wide open at the back. 2nd he was turned like a schoolboy by Lampard. Carroll should have been on from the start, only 1 recognised centre half for them and he looked afraid of Carroll when he came on. It was a goal and 9 times out of ten it would have been given, game over then as they had gone at that point. We move on and get over it, we need 2 attacking players for next season, 1 to work form midfield and one up front. Message to Kenny, play 2 up front, Suarez is not a target man and looks better playing off Carroll.

I miss out due to not going the Oldham game. My own fault I never signed up for the Auto Cup Scheme and worked that Friday night. Can only blame myself for that stupid decision last June. Season ticket holder for as long as I can remember, Never missed a Cup Final. Its the only fair way the club can do it with so few tickets. Anyone need a cheap hotel near Heathrow. Just my take on the Club statement and Suarez statement. Having read the panel document we fully expected some press support to the many inconsistencies within the report. The press seem to have followed to FA line and condemned Luis. Once they all stuck together it became difficult not to back down. Thus we issue a statement supporting Luis but accepting the ban. I think it was the best we could hope for, if we had gone to appeal we would have had months of bad publicity and the same result. If only some of the press pack had read the report and been willing to go against the pack. FA are corrupt, Press love Man Ure. I would love to defend this case in a law Court, FA and Evra would be laughed out of court.

Spent a few hours reading the report and thought i would add my observations having spent a little time in various court rooms. Numerous video clips viewed which do not show Luis using the N work 5, 7 or 10 times. No video footage helps to show what was said by Luis. Evra starts the confrontation with an offensive remark and during a heated argument threatens to punch or kick Luis (depending who you believe). Luis admitted using the word Negro once but not in an Offensive manner I think we have to accept that Luis grabbed Evra by the arm and head to wind him up (It is a mans game after all) Evra pushed Dirk twice (I think) getting booked the 2nd time. Evra says he told the Ref he had been abused by Luis but the Ref did nothing and does not mention it in his report to the FA. Why did Evra not repeat the allegation and use the N work instead of "Black" to describe the incident, It does not make sense. Even Giggs told him to get on with the game so puts into doubt the fact he even mentioned it. Dirk gives evidence to say he heard Evra say he was getting booked because he was Black, Panel dismiss this as untrue, WHY Panel seem to put a lot of weight behind the fact Luis accepted the evidence of Valencia, Hernandez and Fergie. He could not contest it as he did not hear it, does not mean it was the true. Fergie, Nani and the Ref said Evra used the N word. this is inconsistent with his Statement given to the FA. WHY Evra told Canal+ the he was abused at least 10 time, Panel except this is a figure of speech and not another inconsistency by Evra. WHY Expert witnesses were used to explain what was said as reported by both Luis and Evra. Not sure much can be taken from this as we cannot prove what Luis said other than what has been admitted. However they did say if Evra's account was excepted it was offensive but did not make sense, If Luis was believed it was not Offensive and made sense Linguistically. Again Panel do not believe this weakens Evra's evidence. WHY The panel make several conclusions based on oral and written evidence as follows Praise was given to Evra by the panel for admitting to a comment that reflected badly on him, the opening insult he made about C**T. No praise given to Luis about admitting to a comment that could look badly on him. Does this show bias by the panel. Suarez was hostile towards Evra, no mention that Evra was hostile 1st and that Evra started the confrontation with an abusive outburst that would explain the reaction from Luis. The panel seem to base the whole decision on inconsistencies in written and oral evidence. They are dealing with Spanish, French, English, Dutch and even Scottish translations. A reasonable person would accept slight differences in recalling an incident that took place during and after a match. The panel seem to ignore anything that discredits the evidence given by Evra but make huge significance to anything by Luis, Comolli and Dalglish. Was what Luis said meant in a conciliatory or friendly way, we will never know as only Luis knows. Would the CPS charge on the basis of 1 word against the other, I doubt it very much. Why has Evra never been investigated for his part in the whole incident. Bottom line is, he gets on with the game and none of this takes place. Have they taken into account the previous malicious allegations made by Evra. Was he winding up Luis, YES, did Luis wind him up, YES. Is Luis a racist, NO. FA are corrupt

One disallowed against Sunderland, One great save against Arsenal. He could and should be on at least 1 league goal maybe 2. He is great at holding up the ball and bringing others into the game. His game is all about strength and balls into the box. Do some forget we have 5 or 6 new players (if you include Suarez and Carroll) in the team and it will take a little time. Give it time and play to his strengths, he will create havoc once we get going and possibly Suarez will love the space he creates.
