Guest RedIsMyColour Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Proving his worth. No matter how frustrating the lil' guy is, he always has the ability to bounce back and score some great goals. I hate him and love him in equal measure
Earl Hafler Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I don't hate him but he frustrates me and then shows what a player he is. Said he deserved his place a few games ago and he's proved it. 6 goals, 1 conceded. Need to transfer that away from home but now we have a platform for a run.
Sion Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Shame he's so unconsistent or he'd be one of the best players in the PL.
chrisbonnie Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 he`s a sneaky little get, he does nothing, but then slithers his way into positions and scores, gotta love him, but he sure infuriating at times too, but tonight, we love em
Benitez Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 he's been very good this season most of the time when he's played. He's gonna hit double figures in goals again this season
kenny7 Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Hope he isn't injured. Called for the substitution straight after scoring, and seemed to hobble off.

Nerik Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Besides Fowler he is the most natural finisher in the team. The team improves immeasurably when the likes of Garcia start popping up with crucial goals. He is at close to 30 LFC goals in 3 seasons now.
Earl Hafler Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 cough ahem......10 goals 4 conceded Last two games. Sorry if it wasn't clear.

Yep, agree with that.As Benitez says, his general play is much improved this season. He does'nt give the ball away half as much as he used to, but he still scores goals. He's a our lttle genius
Guest DjibriLFC Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Still frustrates me with his crap passing and lack of holding the ball up.. but it softens my frustration when he scores great goals like that. Still cant seem to do it in the Premier league, for me he is to lightweight, for instance the Manure game, i still cannot to this day work out how Rafa kept him on the pitch that long.
anny road Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Hope he isn't injured. Called for the substitution straight after scoring, and seemed to hobble off. hamstring..he was feeling it after he scored...asked to be subbed immediatley
Mike Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 luis is great.he should be banned from ever being in our half though.
CarraLegend Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 One minute he makes you think "Wow" then next minute its "How the f*** is this lad a footballer?" Scores a sublime first goal tonight, in the 2nd half he had the ball, looked up, see a Bordeaux player was in the way of a teammate yet just passed the ball anyway and it obviously went straight to their player. He's mental and its actually quite funny when we're winning. I love him.
richt71 Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 luis is great.he should be banned from ever being in our half though. I was lucky enough to chat to Barney Rubble the other week. He said he really like Garcia. Said he had a immense football brian but some days his feet didn't seem to be as quick as his brain!
Guest DjibriLFC Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 The guy cant pass its simple, but Rafa sees something in him.
Mike Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 The guy cant pass its simple, but Rafa sees something in him. most of us see something in him.
CarraLegend Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 The guy cant pass its simple, but Rafa sees something in him. He can pass a football, infact some of the passes he's done since he's been here have been incredible but he also commits some absolute howlers. Its obvious what Rafa sees in him, he's different, he scores s***loads of goals, he can create and he might be small and pretty weak physically but he's a warrior.
Guest DjibriLFC Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Hopefully he mite get better as the season goes on and prove me wrong, but all in all he really frustrates me. He scores brilliant goals i give him that.

Jeff guitar Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 It's not Luis, its a pretty high percentage of our supposedly knowledgable fans attitude to one of our most valuable players that really frustrates me.
Ramón Benítez Hernández Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I was lucky enough to chat to Barney Rubble the other week. He said he really like Garcia. Said he had a immense football brian but some days his feet didn't seem to be as quick as his brain! The problem with Luis, is that his brains are all in his head.
Stevie H Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 luis is great.he should be banned from ever being in our half though.haha. totally. 3 in 2 though, positives inevitably outweigh the negatives with our luis. The guy cant pass its simple, but Rafa sees something in him.balls. Hopefully he mite get better as the season goes on and prove me wrong, but all in all he really frustrates me. He scores brilliant goals i give him that.he's a gem. accept him.
Romario Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 haha. totally. 3 in 2 though, positives inevitably outweigh the negatives with our luis.balls.he's a gem. accept him.I agree. He's exactly the kind of player we've been screaming for for years. Vladi bless him was meant to be that player but Garcia offsets all the brutal passes by scoring really really important goals. He delivers when it counts timea and time again and that's gold dust. He's never really the one to score no. 4 in a 4-0 drubbing. Usually he's the one knocking in those important first goals in tight nail biters. For me Rafa knows what he can do and the rest of the team cover for a player like him. Gerrard, Sissoko and Alonso in midfield with Kuyt tracking back allows Garcia to do what he does best (stay away from our goal)
