I dont think so. You cant expect Rafa to win the title with the current crop. We have a very good team but not a title winning one. In terms of quality players manure the a*** and chelski possess more technically-gifted creative players. as stated ad nausaem we neeed 2 pacy creative wingers similar to ronaldo, robben and giggs at their best, eg. nani, quaresma, etc. inmho am not sure malouda and simao fit the bill. also adding someone like tevez would be a perfect summer.

We need 3/4 top drawers. which maximum will cost around the 80 mill mark. Rafa needs a net spending of 60 mill this summer.

we have a very good chance vs the chavs in the semi-final. Over 2 legs i am confident we have the edge. we done it once with less quality in our team. we can do it agian. I am not sure that we just need a few tweaks to win the league. Saying it how it is:- Keeper: Reina Carson dudek - three good goalkeepers, no need for additions; Defence: we need sami replacement and a good attacking LB, intstead of static, slow, uncreative JAR, and the injury-prone aurelio; Centre midfield - one of the best around wouldn t touch it. Wings: Our main culprit - we need 2 absoulutely very good wingers, and keep pennant and gonzo as squad players, hopefully they come good as well but we cant rely another season on them. Kewell with his present lucrative contract and his injury-prione physique and long-term absence from football, i say get rid. forwards - pretty satisfied with our Crouch/Bellamy, Kuyt. we just need to add one quality striker. Voronin i dont know why... No 10 slot - Garcia is a good player but w all know how frustrating he can be at times. If rafa is armed with the money and wants to be ruthless.. Priorities Top-class LW - Quaresma?, babl, mancini?? sell/release kewell, zenden Top-class RW - Alves Top class striker - Etoo, Villa, Tevez?, Torres etc.. I think that the English FA should consider the possibility of allowing 7 subs to be named on the subs bench instead of 5. In many countries teams are allowed to bring 7 subs. With 7 subs mangers can easily slot in a youngster every now and then.

we have Garcia, Alonso, Gerrard who are inventive and creative enough BUT We are in desperate need of a fast, dribbling winger! Until we l finally get one from somwhere we will never mount a serious challenge to win the PS. One of the major ingredients of Cheski s decline is the fact that they abondoned their system of playing with 2 wingers;. Duff/Robben. Duff was sold/Robben didnt reach his usual standard and instead they packed their midfield with creative, goal-scoring midfielders... Width is a FUNDAMENTAL asset to have in your squad. Only fast, dribbling wingers will inject in any side that kind of width able to trouble a very organised defence. We have been lacking raw pure width for ages and sadly so has the title. Rafa pls forget simao and buy FAST DRIBBLING WINGERS!

The huge majority of Liverpool fans acknowledge that we need to buy a Barnes and a Beardsley which by all accounts is no mean feat. We have repeatedly stated that our major problem is that we do not possess quality players down the flank. Next summer we absolutely must buy 2 great wingers. That would be my top priority if i were rafa. kewell, zenden must leave. Hopefully Rafa s signings over the course of next summer. 2 wingers 1 striker 1 central defender to replace sami. We may have to spend around the 60mill mark to convert our squad into a title-winning one.

Bellamy is our best striker over all. Kuyt in his first season in England showed glimpses of what a great player he is and will be for us. Crouch needs to be replaced by a top notch quality striker. He is too damn slow. He s tall but can t get head a ball to save his life. He s not that strong either and commits too many fouls on defenders when he is trying to hold-up play up frony. has good feet, but as said too slow to use them effectively. old robbie seems to have been replaced with the mysterious voronin signing

Kuyt is ok. I consider him to be a good player. If he finds the net more often and beats a man more reguarly he d be a great striker. So far he s been good. It still his first season at Anfield so I am reserving my final judgement atm.

There are tons of players world-wide. I don t know them all. I leave that job to rafa and his scout department. Hopefully they can do a wenger and find the right players. They must make sure they get it right though. All I can say is that I like the likes of Villa, huntellar, babl, alves, solari. There must be tonnes more in south america i have never even watched playing.

The league table does lie! I don think there s a 20 point gap in quality between us and the mancs. With our current first 11 we can beat any team on this planet at anfield. However I agree with the majority of posters on here and believe that to challenge consistently over the course of a whole season, we must add a couple of pure genuine class players and imo in the form of a striker and a winger.

that hits the nail on the head. that's our problem. when we cross from the wing the majority of times there are only a couple of players in the box. we need to attack more as a whole, as a team. Generally There should be no less than 4 players attacking a looped in cross, in order for a team to manage to score.

Today, imo, rafa chose our strongest available first 11. would field the same team vs barca. hopefully they wont be too knackered by then. but first let's thump back manure to old toilet!
