Sell Pennant, Voronin, Finnan, and Yossi = Buy Silva Sell Alonso = Buy Barry Considering all sales go through, both options are certainly within our finanacial limits. Pennant Voro, Finn and Yossi can easily fetch 15mill between them. Silva will cost around 20mill Xabi is valued around 18mill, barry will also cost around 20mill. Thus with less than 10mill final effort from the american w*****s rafa can have a complete squad.

KEANE is a quality proved premiership player able to play in the hole. i think he and torres would anexcellent partenership which will lead to loads of goals. Barry is a versatile player who will also be a quality addition, but knowing we hve masch and alonso i would prefer if we spend the money on a quality left wing. dont think barry is a priority buy at the moment.

If it s true rafa will have 50mill tops to spend, (alonso sale canceled by the eventual barry deal) He already spent around 10 mill of em. think we ll buy keane and silva, which will make us genuine title contenders, but still short of winning it.

diego, quaresma and abidal/evra or players of this calibre. players like reira and kranjacar etc are just not good enough to thrust us into the a title - genuine challengers team. would also forget abt barry atm unless he wants him mainly as a LFB.bentley, good but we can find better. player like diego will provide us with flair and a player who will help us gain points in tight-locked games player like quaresma, will give us that much needed width. abidal/evra player who will give us that extra edge when needed when going forward these are the types of players rafa must sign if he wants to still be LFC manager next season/ Will be difficult for Rafa to make such signings,but certainly not impossible.

cant see why rafa wants barry unless he plans to use him as a left full-back. We only need abidal from barca, diego fom werder and quaresma from porto. One more season, for sure. just needs to address our width problem. A winger in the robben mould would transform us into a penetrating dangerous side, with a cutting-edge into the final third. Last night we played vs a very good defence. We had all the possession and dominated the whole match, but we lacked enough penetration. We were being limited to cross the ball from the middle of the pitch, ehere crosses are much less dangerous when the come from behind the opposing full-back. We have been repeating this endlessly, since the magical beardsley days were slowly but consistently, oozed and finally terminated by that cruel biological clock , but so far no manager not even Rafa corrected this obvious glaring defeciency. Please Rafa just buy a quality winger next summer and you, us and LFC will be just fine.

Think we will go with a 4-1-3-2 formation. babel Lucas and Gerrard, to support the front two,Masch to sit deep . hyppia played well but from my ameteur tactical point of view, i think that because he lacks pace, our defensive line has to stay deep with the result that it makes the opposition team easier to reach our final third (part of pitch when they can cause problems) and hinders our attacking play cos the team cant stay compact and pass the ball fluently to each other. Along with wingers, defenders with pace are also a must for an improved overall performance. If i were Rafa, considering we dont have time or money to buy quality players atm i would play finnan- carra- skretl - agger (aurelio) gerrard - alonso - masch - babel torres - ??? (lost here neither crouch/voronin/kuyt fill me with confidence)
