Agreed, looks comfortable on the ball, and able to play the ball out from the back like Agger without the need to hoof it. Considering it's his first season here, he's done well & I think we'll see a big improvement in him next season especially with a full pre season under his belt. I reckon he'll get his first goal from a sweet freekick! Hopefully in the next game!

Imagine a Boca vs River Plate final over here in Europe or even England... i wonder how many of the barras bravas would make it to that game. Now that would be worth going to just for the atmosphere alone.

Socrates - the coolest midfielder of all time?

Was too young to remeber the '82 world cup, so 86 are my first WC memories. I remember feeling devastated when Joel Batts saved Socrates penalty, right up in the left hand corner. That was Socrates through & through... people cottoned on to his techinque, and how he took penalties, yet he still took them in the same 2 step way into the top left hand corner... almost like a dare to the keeper "I'm Socrates... save it if you can" absolute magic!
