I think people are missing the part of the club and how it influences players behaviour. Yes he has the tendencies to be a prat at times, but had he stayed, he would have fixed up. He's not a bad player, & would've have become better had he stayed with us, and matured as a person which seems to be his downfall. Obviously you do get the odd c*** like Diouf who is just a prize t** & goes against the grain. Let me ask you all this, do you think Cristiano Ronaldo would be hated as much if he came to Liverpool instead of Man U? I don't think he would've because it's not the Liverpool way for players to dive & act like knobs on the pitch. I reckon he would've been liked by a lot more people as he wouldn't have been exposed to that kind of behaviour at Liverpool. To me Liverpool players seem to behave better and are less troublesome characters. So maybe he would've turned out to be a good player for us, both on & off the pitch.
