I hardly ever post anything on here... more of a lurker, but have some news regarding the on going Gareth Barry transfer saga. In a nutshell.... was in a club last night & Gareth was there with 2 mates (I think one guy was his brother). I asked him what's going on, and he said he's definately signing this week. Some may think it's good news, others not.... but thought i'd share it with you all anyway.

I guess it's just one of those things that some managers have a preference for depending on the style of play. AC Milan didn't play with any wingers in both the finals.... Gattuso, Seedorf, Pirlo, Kaka in 2005 & Gattuso, Pirlo, Ambrosini, Seedorf in 2007. It was pretty much the same this season too... they rarely play with wingers. Arsenal have done it too when they played with Fabregas, Flamini, Rosicky & Hleb... none of who are really wingers. Would it be such a bad thing if we lined up with say Benayoun/Levia, Mash, Alonso & Gerrard, with 2 up front?

Yep, Vieira does seem like he's now finished. But another Inter player still catches the eye. Javier Zanetti.... does this guy just not age or something? He was still marauding around like he was in his 20's. Showed up a lot of his team mates, and if a few more of them had his desire then we would've had a much tougher game on our hands. A true legend.

OK, your right actually. There are a few who would get rid of Rafa, some on this forum too. No. Heard it from the man himself. He rates him.

That bit from the press is rubbish. Ansari wouldn't replace Rafa, period. He rates him as much us the rest of us.
