Its quite obvious that certain managers try to intimidate referees. Should be brought to book and given a warning that their side will be docked points if they persistently do it.

Why worry. If he doesn't do enough then Rafa will move him on and we'll get another player. I haven't seen enough from him either but its pointless fretting over. Rafa improves us each transfer window.

Hear hear. There's far too much judging of players going on from e-season highlights. When you go to the matches (at any level) you get an appreciation of the level of opposition, how well teammates are linking up, the level of domination of the side. Its the only way you can really tell if a player has outperformed that level and might be ready for a step up. Even then there are other factors like who is ahead of him in the squad. We've just sent Pongolle on loan because he can't break into the 1st team. Now Sinama, at reserve level, looks frighteningly good. Not just head and shoulders above any of our new teenage recruits but on another planet. By comparison, some of the others look just what they are, promising youngsters. I wish more people could go and watch a few reserve games, it really would be an eye opener for the difference in the level of football.

I think FSP may have a future for us, he's scored excellent goals for us and with a run in a team like he may get now i think he could improve. I wouldn't be too surprised to see him back with us next season.

You've got to have a bit of admiration for ALT in sticking it out at Sunderland. They play s*** football and the ball gets lumped up to his head but he keeps on working hard for them. Sadly I don't think he's done much to prove he has a future in the Premier League, anyone agree ?

i think he's a bit more confident in himself. Comes with having a family, being rich beyond your wildest dreams, having moved around a bit, taken a few knocks etc.

Spot on, thats been bugging me since the draw was announced. Slaxlex will get them into a siege mentality and make out that the world is against them anyway but it doesn't help for them to have a perceived focus for their indignation.

It sounds like it. One of the blokes involved with the build said something about the Millenium eye being built after the Millenium but it was a marvellous success. When is something like that ever built on time ?
