maybe you are right. I don't think it makes sense because we've signed Fowler, How would Defoe get in the side ? Late in the transfer window is when deals are likely to be rushed through, so if anything is going on then they'll make it happen, even if it means late nights, flights back from Barbados or even people doing the job they are paid to do actually being at their desk and doing their job.

I think they could a fford to leave a few of the staff at Anfield if it meant signing a key pleyer. Not that I think there's anything in this.

Thats another great thing about the timing of this. We have Paco now and he's meant to be an outstanding fitness coach. If anyone can help Robbie get an extra %15 of fitness then its him. With respect to the coaches at Leeds and City, I doubt they could have got players as fit as our coaches.
