Apparently the interpretation is that Kane not reaching for the ball or making a tackle at that point means that he wasn't interfering with play. Lovren was attempting to play the ball and didn't make good contact, but still a deliberate attempt to play it. Hence no offside. Not saying I agree. I think that Kane being the person who the pass was intended for and who Lovren was trying the stop the ball from getting too, is offside and has an influence on the action. However there is a debate among referees about this. Fullback Edman. Also a 2-2 game and we missed a penalty that day. Also Morientes missed a good chance late on.

A few penalties too. Not a fan of Mignolet but I have yet to see what Karius brings to our game that Mig doesn't.

I think Mignolet is a much better option than Karius. He at least makes some good saves at times.

Suarez (and I think Comolli f***ed that one up) had made a statement in the dressing rooms shortly after the Evra incident. Ferguson had gone to report to the ref and Suarez was asked for a statement. Comolli came in as some sort of interpreter and Suarez made that statement. Had Suarez just denied saying anything he'd probably have never been charged.
