He's still the best LW in the game (Ronaldinho isn't a winger) he's stifled by Chelsea's tactics though, did you know he had the best possession retention statistics in the league last season? Over 80% of his passes went to a teammate. That may seem good on first inspection, but in reality it was because he was cutting back inside and passing it to the midfield instead of taking a risk and taking on players. He really doesn't fit in at Chelsea, while he has seemingly become a bit more of a bitter b*****d while there he still seems a decent enough lad.

Is spot on, from start to finish. It's clear that it's Rafa who is reluctant to waste money, and he's right to do so, we bid £12m for Owen and £10m for Simao last summer, most of that money is still there, along with all the money from the CL merchandising, the Super Cup victory and the World Club Cup. Much ado about nothing in my opinion. Ask yourself why anyone would want to invest in LFC. If they are not a fan they are doing it to make money from the club, money that at the moment is being spent on the team. Anyone coming in has either got to be a fan who is doing it for love and is wealthy enough to make a difference or someone who will improve the structure of the club so much that any profit he is taking from the club is part of a much bigger chunk and doesn't affect our ability to spend. There are f*ck all people of either type around. No to everything Again no to everything, the annual report on the official site has everything. What else could there be?

I think it's lazy journalism TBH. A kind of rethread of the Echo's own story on Saturday. They printed a milder version which was picked up by the nationals and exxagerated and now the Post are printing their own version of this exxagerated story. The board have given Rafa a lot of money over the last 18 months, from what he himself has said most of the time it's been his decision not to spend it.

I think there was a bit of hassle in the way they signed him, think they bent the rules a bit. He looks a good player though alright, lightning quick.

The only difference between us and Chelsea on the pitch at the moment is attackign set-pieces, they're brilliant at them and we're crap. I don't know why we don't try that old Gary Mac one from the treble year where he used to chip it in to the front post for Babbel to get the flick, very hard to defend against. It'd be very hard to stop Crouchy winning that first header too.

We got £2m for him, he had a release clause in his contract for that amount. He didn't want to play for us. Momo's better anyway.
