I said at the time of the draw that Chelsea will beat Barca. Their defence is crap. They're really missing Xavi too, he's the brains of their team and they seem to be lacking direction without him.

City we never really sparked or dominated, it was very similar to last season when they beat us an even game decided by one good goal. Luton was a fantastic game of football alright, but only because we stopped playing for 30 minutes after we scored. Spurs we played well for the first half but switched off after half time and had to grind out a result.

It was a good strike, keeper should have done better though.

People weren't giving it the whole "sack the board" treatment, but a couple of people did suggest getting rid of him because "he couldn't adjust to the hustle and bustle of the English game"

I don't mind him scoring in games you've already won, performances like his today contribute to the myth that he's a world class player. In reality he's a bottler who can't hack a challenge. He'll be s**** against us (he said hopefully...)

The only person I've seen even contemplating it was "chrisbonnie" and that was this season. I do think a few people would have said "the jury's still out" though, but only the arch-pessimists.

Man City (a) 1-0 Luton Town (a) 5-3 Spurs (h) 1-0 a couple of others could be added to the list too I suppose, Sunderland away, Villa away, comfortable wins but nothing too inspiring
