My concern is that we showed our hand too early, any striker we go for now will will be more expensive because their clubs will know we have the money

If we sell Elliott and buy a new midfielder, Jones might fall down the pecking order but I don't think we'll sell him. We need more midfielders (that Slot likes), not fewer. We can't keep playing Mac Allister and Grav every game. Judging by Slot's comments, we've run Mac Allister into the ground and he knows it.
