With their 4 6 formation it should be a scrappy affair, more individual brilliance required.

That would do me.

Wouldn't mind seeing Agger for Toure or even Alberto for Moses but that's about it.

Same team as Norwich.

Am sure it will be.

Personally, I'd prefer someone other than Skrtel to partner Agger. Ideally, I'd like to see Sakho paired with him but if neither is comfortable as right CB then Toure.

rest Henderson, rest Johnson. Keep Lucas rested. Solid three at the back, attacking fullback, four attacking players and Gerrard.

4-0.

Which one is the attacking fullback? Cafu or the CB playing out of position?

Lucas was rested versus Norwich so hopefully it's Gerrard's turn tomorrow.

Flanagan, Allen and Sterling did enough on Wednesday to stay in the team.

No chance Gerrard is being rested.

And that would be quite right too.

I just don't understand people's apparent excitement at him not playing, whether that's being dropped or being 'rested' following exertions with England.

I think he's getting close in his career to needing more rotating, but he's still head and shoulders our best midfielder

Agree to some extent, though I'd have thought Norwich was the game to do it. No harm him starting the odd game on the bench now and again.

Allen should start. As should Sakho.

I'd drop Sterling and I'd look to give Alberto the 60 instead of the 30 when the game is mad, also.

EDIT: I'd also look to give Aspas 30 as well and give Suarez a rest.

Nah. Rest his legs by taking him off when you can, let's get the games won first.

I get the sports science and all, but it is sometimes odd to see how taken we are with having our best players not start games.

I'll be very surprised if Gerrard ever plays ahead of the midfield again.

Do you think he's still capable and it's choice, or he hasn't got the body to do it anymore?
