épieur Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Mignolet JohnsonToureSakhoFlanagan Lucas MosesGerrardAllenCoutinho Suarez That would do me. Wouldn't mind seeing Agger for Toure or even Alberto for Moses but that's about it.
David Hodgson Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Mignolet JohnsonToureSakhoFlanagan Lucas MosesGerrardAllenCoutinho Suarez I'd throw the kitchen sink at them. Sterling can play left back, and Henderson in for Lucas.

fred milne Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 (edited) Same team as Norwich.Am sure it will be. Personally, I'd prefer someone other than Skrtel to partner Agger. Ideally, I'd like to see Sakho paired with him but if neither is comfortable as right CB then Toure. Edited December 6, 2013 by fred milne

Earl Hafler Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Which one is the attacking fullback? Cafu or the CB playing out of position? Flanno quite obviously.
Cam Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Lucas was rested versus Norwich so hopefully it's Gerrard's turn tomorrow. Flanagan, Allen and Sterling did enough on Wednesday to stay in the team.

Conrad Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 No chance Gerrard is being rested. Rodgers will play the same XI - which I would - or bring in Lucas for Allen.
RP Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 No chance Gerrard is being rested. And that would be quite right too. I just don't understand people's apparent excitement at him not playing, whether that's being dropped or being 'rested' following exertions with England.

I think he's getting close in his career to needing more rotating, but he's still head and shoulders our best midfielder Edited December 7, 2013 by Heighway 61 Revisited
Davvo Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 I think he's getting close in his career to needing more rotating, but he's still head and shoulders our best midfielder Agree to some extent, though I'd have thought Norwich was the game to do it. No harm him starting the odd game on the bench now and again.
schmuckdonald Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 (edited) Allen should start. As should Sakho. I'd drop Sterling and I'd look to give Alberto the 60 instead of the 30 when the game is mad, also. EDIT: I'd also look to give Aspas 30 as well and give Suarez a rest. Rimbeux Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 I get the sports science and all, but it is sometimes odd to see how taken we are with having our best players not start games. I'll be very surprised if Gerrard ever plays ahead of the midfield again. Do you think he's still capable and it's choice, or he hasn't got the body to do it anymore?
