but when Carroll is fit we'd prob revert to a 4-4-2.. but then without no natural width.. and well.. a midfield pairing of mereiles and gerrard.. maybe gerrard playing the more defensive roll...

I think that has the best chance of getting the most out of our top players, and even then Kenny will have to instil some old school overlapping in to our full backs

I wouldn't move Kelly from RB. Or Johnson from LB.

 

Spend big on a CB in the summer, keep Agger fit, bring in Adam and Young and we are back in business big style.

 

I love the bones of Aurelio but I've long since given up on him being fit long enough to be a regular. Shame as he'd be one of the best LBs in Europe if he was.
