Second half, Carragher wallops it upfrield and the Kop give him the bird a little for not keeping the ball....He then turns around sharpish and starts shouting at us

I dont know what he said but I am guessing at

"OH f*** OFF"

Haha yeah there was a massive sort of "what the f*** you doing?" when he could have took a touch and passed but instead leathered straight out of play around the halfway line.

I thought that was funny too. Kopites ARE g*******s :)

yeah was quality, I was in the lower centenary and saw him do it... gotta love him as I think he knew he f***ed it up as well.

He did it during the spurs game last season. Went mental at some bloke in the lower centenary. But he carried on having a go at every opportunity throughout the game whenever he was nearby.

Ye, spotted that too. Sat Kop end of Main Stand. Wasnt sure if it was aimed at Pepe or the Kop at first. Just shows how passionate he is-legend!

Carra has really led from the front in our recent revival setting the tone with crunching tackles in the opening minutes of the big games against Spurs and Everton then giving really solid displays at right back and centre half. In terms of talking, organising and leading he's as much a captain on the pitch as Stevie for me, maybe even more.

Stevie is more of a figurehead who leads with his play, Carra would be our captain in the more traditional sense.

His distribution was absolutely horrible yesterday.

He deserved the stick he got for that particular incident, although it wasn't his fault we'd brought on a lad with no first touch to play upfront while we were trying to play possession footy. Bonkers sub.

Yeah? Hadn't thought of that, just thought I'd bring it up as it doesn't seem to have been mentioned anywhere much but was the main talking point in the pub.

Ngog does the basics really well. If he could score some headers he'd be a fantastic option, instead of a decent one. As it is he's a bit of a non scoring holdup striker. He's great at winning his free kicks though.

He does, agree completely Mike - if N'Gog could build his upper body and enable himself to play with his back to goal he could be a good option for us. His touch is very good at times, he knows where the goal is when he gets a chance (Bolton game excepted) and he has a bit of pace and a good attitude but he's not strong enough to play regularly as a lone striker yet.

We should try and steal Yakubu's diet plan from Everton for him.

Andy Grays man fat, feed the yak and he will score

He's like Carlton Cole when he first started featuring for Chelsea. If he can bulk up like he has he could be a very good player because he's an excellent finisher, good pace and has the ability to beat players.

I thought that he had run himself into the ground & was starting to look like he needed to come off. however yet again mr no bo11ocks failed to take the chance given.

He's just not played enough top class football yet, only played something like 20 first team games before signing for us.

He's only going to get better as he gets more games.

He is - so he has the potential to be better than Carlton Cole. He's more intelligent too, good attributes for a striker.

Maldini is spot on though, Cole is a great example of how he needs to build his physique who wasn't dissimilar in build to N'Gog when he first came through, but is an absolute monster of a man these days. That has to be down to good old fashioned hard work in the gym.

I thought N'Gog did well overall though, he worked hard to try to keep the ball. His take on the chest, turn and run in the first half was exceptionally good.

As Richwilks says he just needs to be playing now whether its off the bench in an ideal world or starts at the moment with the injuries. I think with a young player if they have the ability you see consistent improvement with games played, which is why I'd like to see Pacheco getting a chance here and there.
