Honestly, I love him. I mean seriously, this man is the greatest keeper this club has ever had. He is such a class act, that save he made when it was offisde, I don't give a s*** that was the save of the season, he was brlliant throughout and he is in my opinion, and yes above Torres the best signing Rafa has made at Liverpool.

His shot stopping is quite obviously superb but I think it's his distribution that's his great strength. To be a great goalie these days it isn't enough just to roll the ball to the nearest defender or smack the ball upfield in the hope it will end up at the feet of one of your players. Reina is a true pioneer of beginning an attack from the back and I'm sure he's spawned a generation of imitators and that in itself is a testament to how good he is.

His concentration is phenomenal. That save from Yakubu - which came from nowhere - was top drawer.

 

I hope we win a title in the next couple of seasons because to have Reina, Gerrard and Torres at the club and not win it - well it's rare to have three such players at the club at the same time. Would be a massive waste.

I'm not sure he's a pioneer of that. Brucie was very good at spotting the opportunity to throw the ball out to a player and start an attack. Reina is the stand out exponent of it in his generation of keepers.

he has stepped up this season to become a real leader and what i love about him is he's a liverpool man to the bone, he has a genuine love for the club
