whats the point of this? i think from Kevs thread last week, its pretty clear the overwhelming majority who post on here back the manager

The other thread didn't give you an option of a medium opinion. Also we seem to have come out of the major dip and have won two games on the bounce. Both of these things make it a slightly different kettle of fish. Additionally in that thread a poll was asked for.

To generate attention for the thread starter, as per usual.

Imagine the glory and my superstardum status I could reach with 'attention' from this forum.

That'd be great. I can't imagine anything more fulfilling in life than the joy that would bring.

Or something.

This needs moving to the LFC forum.

I do think its worthwhile having a proper vote, as the results I'd imagine would support Rafa quite strongly and you never know people in the media might pick it up. Could be a shot in the arm for the team and manager.

Thought the summary from last week's thread was that everyone backs him bar Kev and son (who prefer Jay Spearing)

100% totally.

Cant tolerate the idea that he is being judged after what, 22 games this season, of which we've lost 8. We're 3 points off 3rd place having had about a dozen different players injured, been holed by a beach ball and conceded a few last minute goals. Rotten luck plus those injuries are why we are where we are, not the manager.

6 months ago we were staring at our highest points total since 89-90 (?) You dont turn your back on that unless your Real Madrid or daft. Anyone who doesnt back the manager to turn it around is a short sighted idiot.

Onwards, and undoutedly upwards.

87/88

ah yes, I stand corrected. I remember Barnes goal against QPR where he danced around a couple of defenders at the Kop end - that was 87-88 or else I'm losing my marbles, a real thing of beauty. Was that the season when MOTD did a goal of the season made up of entirely Liverpool goals or was that 89-90?

They played 40 games that season.

Though they did only take six from the last twelve after they'd confirmed the title.

What a time to be Liverpool mad young lad! Heaven on earth if ever there was such a thing. Mesmerising football which the modern press seem to attribute to Arsenal but with the actual capability to go and win something aswell. No point looking nice if you dont close the deal, or something....

i back Rafa and I am sure the vast majority of fans do as well.

unfortuneately, the 2 clowns running the club may have a different view. we all know that common sense and forward thinking are not their strong traits, so anything could happen.

87/88 was a fabulous season to be a Liverpool fan, we had one hell of a team and you went to every game expecting to win, the only question was by how many goals.
