Ah, his baby is a little Gallego. Didn't know that Nando's missus was from Galicia - Santiago de Compostela is a lovely place.

Brilliant - welcome Fernando to the club of Dads with baby daughters!

 

Love the low key way those two do everything, they are astonishingly down to earth and humble considering the circus that surrounds big money top level football these days. I find it remarkable.

 

Don't think I've ever felt the affection for any footballer I do for Torres. The lad is an icon in terms of his ability, status in the game and the way he looks but he's as much 'one of us' as any player at the club.

Odd that you mention it - I don't think they used to look alike, but particularly last season, there were loads of photos where I thought they looked very alike, almost as if over time they've been morphing into one shared uber-midfielder identity. Must be part of Rafa's master plan. Next step is to make Voronin look and play like Torres.
