Fair play to him. Not a great footballer by any means but if he can move out there and get hero worshipped then best of luck to him. More English footballers should try playing overseas anyway.

I would say the fact most English people don't speak another language and find it difficult to learn and adapt to other cultures is a major sticking point.

 

If I was a footballer i'd love to play in Spain, start off career at Liverpool. Leave when about 31, 3 years in Spain, come back to Liverpool playing the Gary Mac role and retire a hero.
