Jezzman Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Why don't we greet our new signings like this in John Lennon airport? http://video.turk.net/video/izle/17374/Ank...tirdi---ANKARA/
Benzo-13 Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Sweet Jebus. Must've got him mixed up with King Darius or something?

Hieronymus Bosch Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Probably the Premier League player least equipped for that kind of reception. I've a feeling it won't be a long and prosperous relationship.
Cheesecake Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 obviously they've never seen him play, mind you neither has anyone at Man City or Villa for years
Tommy Cockles Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 F*ckin ell they are going to be disappointed Seriously great clip. Just when you think its over when he gets into the motor they all follow him!
Duncan Disorderly Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Was I the only one playing "Spot The Totty"?
stressederic Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Fair play to him. Not a great footballer by any means but if he can move out there and get hero worshipped then best of luck to him. More English footballers should try playing overseas anyway.

Defo, average english players can make a name for themselves in places like turkey, Greece and even the gulf i don't know why more don't do it
Sion Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 i don't know why more don't do it I would say the fact most English people don't speak another language and find it difficult to learn and adapt to other cultures is a major sticking point. If I was a footballer i'd love to play in Spain, start off career at Liverpool. Leave when about 31, 3 years in Spain, come back to Liverpool playing the Gary Mac role and retire a hero.
mick Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 now that clip is funny. Vassells thinking to himself -am I a god? Yes I'm a god

But what if "Sir Alex" called you for a breakfast meeting when you were in Spain?
Superjay Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 now that clip is funny. Vassells thinking to himself -am I a god? Yes I'm a god No he's thinking "Oh F*** how am I gonna ge out of here alive when they realise?"
