I don't know who to root for

That's exactly why I *have* lost interest.

I don't want Portsmouth to win. I only hate them a bit (well, if you call wanting every single one of them to die slow, painful deaths through torturous means; perhaps each player, fan & associate having their skin slowly raked off with a potato peeler... a bit of hatred. It's quite mild for me.) but I'm not arsed about who wins.

Wembley will be 2/3rds full for the semis due to small fanbases & the corporate sector not giving a feck. I can appreciate the argument from some that this season may just have saved the FA Cup as a competition. For me though it's just put it on a par with the Carling Cup and killed it.

I'm hoping Barnsley win it. The father of a guy from work supports them and he's in hospital after a heart attack.

96 years since Barnsley and WBA were in the semis and Barnsley won it.

I like the idea of Barnsley or West Brom in the UEFA cup. Portsmouth winning would be boring, and Cardiff in Europe is a scary thought, despite the fact that I like the idea of Robbie winning another cup (is he really out for the season?)

I think he's probably out for the season, and it's uncertain if he gets a new contract for next season.

I don;t really want Pompey to win it - but kudos for dumping n the mancs

A mate is a baggie, so it'd be good for him if they won it.

Cardiff & the Robbie connection

Barnsley because beating us & Chelsea, they deserve it

I thought it was a good thing at the weekend but someone just mentioned something about watching the Cup Semis on the tv - can't say I'll bother.

To be honest, I'd sooner watch Barnsley v Cardiff than ManU v Chelsea in a cup semi final.

I hope Barnsley win it now.

This is going to be the best Final in the FA Cup for a long, long time.

The sheer and beauty of brilliance of the FA Cup is back and back with a vengence!

Very well done of all those teams that have managed to get this far - and special good wishes to Barnsley and their fans.

Brilliant stuff - seasons like this is exactly what all the Magic is about.

If the Scum or Chelsea or Arsenal had made the final I almost certainly wouldn't have bothered watching it - but it's now a fixture I'll be putting into my diary.

Good stuff!

Don't understand. Why?

It seems they're affiliated to the Welsh FA not the English FA. It's the English FA that nominate which teams go forward to the UEFA cup via their competitions, and as Cardiff aren't affiliated to them they won't nominate them.
