Carson is the best of them by a mile. Kirkland is unbelievably bad, I don't know how we ever paid £6m for him. James ia what he always was, hugely talented but erratic.

Joe Corrigan for many years - he had this revolutionary approach to keeping clean sheets - eat as much as you can until you block the goal. Unfortunately, James, Kirkland et al missed this bit of sage wisdom and followed hos other tips on picking the ball out of the net while looking disappointed instead.
