Tonight isn't the issue though Jon - (got your pics by the way - been busy!) neither however is Naldo or Alex as we are very well covered in that department...also, at times, Naldo looked distinctly shall we say 'ill at ease' when faced with pace or a determined header of the ball when defending.

Wasn't it he that was beaten to the ball by Terry for the goal? And given we tend to play Chelsea at least six times a season, that aint good?

We don't go after more Brazilians because it's hard to get work permits in Britain (compared to Germany, Holland, Belgium, France etc. etc.). Unless they have an EU passport, the regulations stipulate they have to have played in 70% (I think) of their national side's games in the last two years.

When you're talking about Brazil, those are some very expensive players.

i don't know why we don't buy more Uruguayans, they're kind of like Brazilians but cheaper, most probably

that way we'd always be top of the League and have enough cash to buy everyone some ice cream

We've signed two in a year. First two we've ever signed. Some people are never happy. Don't care where players come from if they're good enough and play well.

I used to watch a lot of South American football, It always struck me that the players were all more concerned with getting their own highlights packages together than winning the game as a team. It seemed nobody would ever get the ball and pass it, they would have to dribble through and opposition player before releasing the ball.
