I just don't see it. I don't really know how good Getruida is, but we're almost at the "any right back" stage of things. We're putting arguably our best player out of position to cover the spot and our three right back options are all massively injury prone. It's negligent at this point. That's so blatantly bent. Sterling isn't marginally onside, he's miles onside, probably his entire body. You can see the line in the grass between him and Kolarov(?) and the lino is positioned directly on that line when the ball is played. Can't blame the ref on that one, definitely the linesman.

With absolutely the greatest of respect to Kenny, I don't think the appointment of someone who hadn't managed a football team for more than a decade would give any indication of a club going in the right direction. I got the impression that FSG had been spinning him a load of bulls*** about the club's ambition and I don't think appointing Kenny matched up to that. I reckon he'd already decided to go long before that anyway.

Just on Torres, I think there's a lot of playing down how good he was going on because we're all sweet on Ekitike. It was an absolute joke how good he was. He was fast, but he was a devastatingly efficient finisher, his movement was incredible, he was strong, he was agile, he was good in the air, and his workrate was superb. He was pretty much 9/10 in every attribute that a striker needed and it's not surprising that he wanted to leave us because we were f***ing terrible and he was incredible. I love Liverpool Football Club with all of my heart, but I'd still consider asking for a transfer if some gobs***e owl was my boss. I think Torres sits just below Suarez as the best striker we've had in the last 25 years. I think he was better than Owen.
