whenever I saw Voronin play in the Bundesliga over the last four or five seasons he has only ever looked ordinary and has never particularly stood out as a player no matter what team he played in. He looked better when playing with Berbatov at Leverkusen but that was more down to his partner. He will never be much more than average, even on a good day

agreed. Now that there's no conflict of interest in the qualifiers, that leaves the way clear for Klinsmann to take over....

They certainly have but I hardly think it's because they had a manager who wasn't English. That may have caused a few raised eyebrows initially, but the laughing resulted from what went on on the pitch, in the media and in the minds of those who seriously thought England were genuiune contenders on the international stage and had a chance of winning anything

It was mentioned this morning on the German sports channel DSF's discussion show but when challenged about it, one of the journalists there said they actually only wrote that because they'd read it somewhere in the English media

Players have in the past been given bans after games for violent conduct the ref missed but was caught on camera. This should be used to ban players retrospectively for diving. -
