Not really. Dortmund are the proper club. Bayern are the manchester united of Germany - arrogant bunch of c*nts who think they've a god given right to success. Still want them to stuff chelsea though...

Unfortunately he's not a "random loon". This organisation carries a fair bit of clout in Germany. Your second line, however, should be the standard response. What players in the German team such as Kehdira, Özil, Podolski or Klose have to do with this is beyond me.

Good summary. Can't really argue with any of that. I think you're bang on that Webb's biggest mistake was trying to keep everyone on the pitch for as long as possible.

I think what they missed more than Müller or anyone else was the ball. Spain had it all the time.

I think they were called klaxon horns or something. The ones I remember from German stadiums in the late 70s worked in some similar way to aerosols and ended up being banned because they were said to damage the ozone layer...

Having watched the match, I'd say we should have won. They were nothing special. That would have made next week even better to look forward to.

There was an interesting bit of nonsense on this general topic on the german news channel n:tv this morning. They claimed there'd been speculation about Ballack's contract not being extended at Chelsea and that one of the possible options if it isn't is that Mourinho wants to take Ballack with him to Liverpool
