probably because of the angles. Just because a keeper has a weakness to one side doesnt mean he cant be beaten to his strong side, or at that point he might not have twigged Dida had a problem to his left. But if you look at the 3 pens we scored in thw shootout, Hamann, Smicer and Cisse, they were all hit to the same spot, and I dont think Dida dived to his left once in teh game, yyou just need to look at Gerrards header to see how bad he was, He didnt even attempt to dive to his left

considering Dida cant couldnt actually dive to his left it was the perfect pen. Smicer told them all in the shootout to go left, Riise clearly didnt listen

I'm amazed its getting the positive reviews, and it seems to be getting overwhelmingly positive reviews from our Muslim fanbase, which is great, because I like many others on here have seen a horrible nasty side of our support, particularly at away games with some of the scally kids who follow us dishing out some horrible racist abuse at times, and if this song/chant is seen as positive or reaching out to be inclusive then im all for it. Maybe now our superstar player is a Muslim, some of the racist divs who follow us wont be as quick to racially abuse people based on nothing more than an assumption they may be Muslim

Moreno is poor. is he the worst full back in the league? no, not even close. Lovren has his moments, is he the worst centre half in the league? no. infact both players would be starters for the majority of premier league teams. Doesn't mean either are good enough to be regular starters for us if we have aspirations of challenging for trophies on a regular basis. Mignolet and Karius though, I cant think of another team in this league with a worst first choice keeper. If you played for a pub team on a sunday morning and your keeper let in 8 of the last 10 shots on target, and was lucky that stat isn't 10 from 12, then you'd hook him off. its at the point now that we dont even expect our keeper to make a save. its diabolical. Ive never been one of these "throw Ward in" people before, but right now i'd struggle to see how he could possibly do any worse than the other pair.

think this is just scapegoating at its finest. Moreno was no worse than about 8 other players yesterday. infact, TAA was far and away the worst player on the park, and an argument could be made that both VVD and Matip had worse games than Moreno. but then Moreno is an easy target isn't he? everyone hates him, so easy to blame for any defeat.
