  1. amazon or eBay. you can pretty much buy anything on either of those. or try an online sports shop they sell footie shirts
  2. Hes Ivorian, Macca
  3. I think Oblak is the better keeper. he would by my first choice
  4. i dont think theres an issue with reaction saves, its probably the strongest point of his game, Its the ones when he has time to think and react. Its almost like he overthinks it, and a keeper in good form doesn't do that. its pretty much all instinct. Its like when a striker hits a goal drought and starts over thinking, taking an extra touch or snatching at shots. Anyway, the long and short of it is still the same today as it was this time last year. we need a new keeper
  5. I think if the first balls up doesn't happen then the second one doesn't either. The first one was just a monumentally stupid thing to do, but its the sort of stupid thing you probably get away with 99 times in 100, and no one thinks anymore about it. its probably played on his mind though and made him doubt himself. the second one his confidence is shot and seemed to change his mind last minute to catch instead of punch. a confident keeper wouldnt even be thinking about catching that ball, its just a neutral reaction
  6. i dont think, as much as you want to try and stretch it, blame the goalkeeping coach for what happened on Saturday. The first was just silly, the second would have hoit him in teh face had he done nothing. Thats not bad coaching, thats just a keeper having a bad game. Other bits of his game on saturday night were weirdly ok, his quick thinking and positioning got TAA out of bother at one point and he made a cracking stop too
  7. surely a fans group can be set up to organise proper travel to away games. get contacts with airlines, bus companies etc and get something set up. so many trips have been destroyed by corporate greed and s***housery for this final
  8. have you seen were the supercup is this year? Estonia. Ground holds about 10500. The way tickets are allocated, if we are in it, you'll need to have at least 50 club appearances to qualify for one
  9. got a message from one of the lads from work who is already in Kiev, saying that changing Sterling to the loacal currency is proving problematic, and the locals prefer to deal in euro or dollars, so probably worth taking a few euro's with you just in case

  16. ive decided to just get a small amount of cash from an ATM when im there, and then just use a credit card as much as i can. i've a few euros knocking about somewhere so im might bring those too. Im also going to get a Ukranian sim card and buy a cheap phone to take with me, as by all accounts phone calls, texts, date etc will cost a fortune
  17. anyone know what the time the ticket office is open until today?
  18. was certainly the one met with the wildest celebration. the Kop was literally vibrating after that went in
  19. well we've all been wrong about everything else

  21. i think there was about 24000 in the ballot and around 8000 tickets. my issue is how its done. you qualify for ballot with 6 games in European Cup. So you could have people only bought 6 tickets all year going while others could have been to all home games and not got a ticket. and thats wrong.
  22. im not arsed as long as we win the european cup
  23. nice one Huddersfield. a draw does us now
  24. worth remembering that Solanke is still only 20. When he comes on he is usually as a direct replacement for Bobby, so he is being asked to play a very difficult role. I think he would do very well in a 2, but im not sure if hes up to speed to play in our system yet, but i'd certainly be willing to give the lad more time. Im not sure how we would be reacting if a 20 year old Firmino was getting the odd sub appearance at 20, he was getting slaughtered by most on here when he first arrived too.
  25. lads, away out yous go and grab a pint. we will beat brighton. we will beat madrid.
