You think every team plays the way a manager coaches them to? Maybe they're not bought into it, maybe theyre so used to playing a particular way they can't adjust to this new way. Maybe theres too many playing in roles or positions they just aren't suited to. Most players are woefully out of form and that's not a coincidence But one thing is for sure. Whatever hes trying to do, its not working, hasn't worked for weeks, and ultimately that's down to the gaffer.

we had Gomez on the bench yesterday and Ramsey on the bench. Both a better option at RB right now, because taking our only real box to box midfielder and the main engine in midfield out of the game is killing us. that game yesterday was lost in midfield. Forest are s***e. we shouldnt be worrying about them attacking us. get the midfield won and give them a chasing. but nope. lets just do what we've been doing all season. concede the midfield, build up really slow, lose the ball and get cut open through the midfield by 2 or 3 passes and lose the game. And Slot might not be s***ting out of tackles himself, but hes picking the players who are, and continually picking them, and leaving them on the pitch when they're stinking the f***ing place out

I honestly get that some players are maybe struggling with Jotas passing a lot, and we cant know how they feel, but, lets be honest here and grown up about it. Its not the reason we have midfielders filling in at right backs. its not the reason we have decided to play at a pedestrian pace, its not the reason players are continually picked while woefully out of form, and its not the reason why players are s***ting out of tackles.

I'm not sure he can rescue this which is mad considering we won the league 6 months ago. 6 defeats in 7 games in the league is so bad you cant even begin to explain it. I dont think i'd ever seen us lose a league game 3-0 at Anfield until yesterday. And lets be honest, we were fortunate to win 3 of the first 5. Its not as if we've been beaten by great teams either. and the most concerning thing is, it seems to be rinse and repeat, we dont seem to be learning anything. We've lost our identity, we no longer press, we get out worked and out fought by teams who havent got a single player who would get in to our team. everything about our build up is so slow, the zip has gone, and because its so slow we are constantly trying to get through teams who have just got men behind the ball and keep their shape, and then with 2 or 3 passes we are getting opened right up. theres players horrendously out of form who seem undroppable, we have our best midfielder filling in at right back when we have 2 players who can play that position sitting on the bench, we have midfielders pulling out of tackles, yesterday we had the only player who ever looks like scoring sat on the bench, while a half fit Isak ambled around seeing none of the ball. how did we manage to spend so much money on a title winning team and make ourselves so much worse?

Leoni looked really good the other night before his injury. Konate looks like hes going through the motions, similar to Trent last season. With Leoni's injury i think its inevitable we get a new CB in Jan, whether thats Guehi or someone else, but they should be bought in as first choice. If Gomez is fit enough i'd be playing him ahead of Konate

i know i might be in a minority of 1 on this, but i'm not that arsed about Diaz going. I always think Gakpo is more of a threat and we look more balanced when he plays. Diaz frustrates the life out of me at times. beats a player, then goes back and beats him again, and i think for the obvious talent he has, his end product should be a lot more than it is i didnt watch the game. i seen the goals, one of them isnt it? he's a decent keeper , but the issue with any other keeper is that its a massive down grade on Ali

he can get f***ed. I've no issue with him leaving, bar the odd game hes been woeful for 18 months, and the way we play now we arent as reliant on the full backs to create everything. the late 80s? Grobbelaar isnt even in the conversation. Alisson is right up there with people like Southall, Peter Schmeichel, Jennings, Cech and Clemence as the best keepers ever to play in England. For me hes defo the best keeper to play in England since prime Southall

i reckon whoever is coming in has already been sorted. Klopp told the club before Christmas, the backroom staff are leaving too. Id have thought they'd have hung around to see what was happening particularly if Ljinders might have thought he was in the running

wouldn't worry too much about that. i think we are the only side who that has the quality to push city all the way. we are only a top class defensive midfielder away from being complete i reckon.
