the entire midfield, every single one of them, need replaced. Henderson, Thiago, Fabinho, Milner, Ox, Keita all need showing the door. we should have been replacing one per season the last 5 years, but we havent. Thiago would probably be ok if he had people to do the running, but theres nothing in there. They've barely got a goal or assist between them all season. And its the root cause of our defensive issues as well, teams are just running through us.

i get your point about immigrants, but theres not that many in that part of the world. Look at the Aussie contingent in that crowd. Theres probably more Aussies on the Rota of Walkabout in Concert Square than there is in that ground

id say at least 9 out 10 irish fans in the ground that day had gone over from Ireland specifically for the football. i know loads who went to it. some didn't bother coming back and are still living in America

isnt China all in 1 time zone? are they good at other sports? considering the populations of China and India, both are terrible at sport for the most part

i think the s*** atmosphere at most of the games are a big problem. it seems that most of the "fans" in the ground are either locals who have f*** all better to do, or migrants from the countries playing. I dont think many countries have seen the number of fans travelling over that you would expect for world cups, largely because of where its being held

i tell you what Hass, your defence of this world cup and all things Qatari has been unwavering. Football is football, theres good and bad games at every world cup, but everything else about it has made it quite easily the worst world cup ever. f***ing hell, thats even worse

no, i think its 16 groups of 3 , with the winners going through to the last 16, and everyone else going home, so instead of being guaranteed 3 games, teams are only guaranteed 2. personally i think its nonsensical, because its just padding the competition out with more s*** teams
