yes, but a very big problem in the lack of chances created is the lack of good movement fom our forwards, leaving the midfield with no one to pass the ball to in a forward position. how many times have you seen us get to the final third only to have no one to pass it to in the box

i would say so, coupled with creating space for themselves so that they can recieve the ball from midfield. that just hasnt been teh case for us, especially awat from home in teh league, far too many games last season on the road were we never had a meaningful shot on goal. i would love to see the goal scoring stats for us awy from home in the league last season to see who are top scorer was and how many he got

its never done till its done, but at his moment in time that is the most likely outcome, although Cisse's move to France may be on loan (heard this from two people and i find it rather odd indeed), with Lyon and Marseille doing most of the enquiring.

Owen will be back at Liverpool by next wednesday, and will probably over the weekend. Real and Newcastle may have agreed a fee, but Owen doesnt want to go there and will only go if we dont want him. but i have been told we do want him, he wants to come here and Rafa wants him. as a very last resort he will be here on loan, but the likelihood is a permanent deal over the weekend

in fairness he has a very valid point. the G14 has lost its way i feel in recent years and the level of entry has been slipping in recent years. but the thing about the G14, is there is no guarantee that they will always be there, and i can see them being voted out pretty soon

if we get 20 million in the summer we should be looking at buying in 2 quality and proven players, a la Alonso and Morientes, and maybe a few players to bulk the squad up. if we can get maybe SWP, and a quality centre half in the summer, then i would be happy. bring ALT back from loan, Diarra, and i think that would do us. the problems over the last few years is we have bought "Potential". thats all well and good when you have a squad capable of mounting a challange, but its not fantastic when you are scrambling for 4th. my own opinion is that without investment rafa may get say £20m. it is possible Baros will be sold for say £10 -£15m, leaving us with a budget of £35 million, enough for a new winger, a new centre half, a new central midfielder, and a replacement striker that will compliment Cisse, Morientes and FSP
