He’s hugely talented, potential is off the scale. But even though he’s scored a few good goals so far, I think the area he’ll need to improve will be his finishing (as had been touted before he joined).

He’s a special talent, especially his ability to turn and change direction sharply and smash it with very little backlift. Loved his little through pass to Wirtz.

His ceiling is literally the best number 6 in the world. Nobody can do what he does, an incredible footballer and athlete. Has everything - can turn so sharply, accelerate from a standing start, football IQ, strength (uses his body brilliantly) vision and passing range. Absolutely love watching him play. Arne’s finest achievement individual wise.

You can see the massive potential in this team, in some of our patterns of play. I think these games whilst we are still gelling and adapting leave us a little vulnerable, but we keep winning anyway. Wheh it all clicks and they settle, it’s going to be magnificent.

Isak and Gravenberch did some beautiful stuff in that half. Obviously in very different roles but both amazing athletes. They can change direction so sharply in tight spaces, and both have incredible acceleration from a standing start.

Really want Guehi signed and Konate benched for him. Just feels like that will be a positive move and also take control of the Ibou contract situation. Had enough of all that with Trent, fed up of all the game playing b*llocks. He’s obviously going and playing very poorly anyway so let’s get him replaced. I think we’ve got two great impact subs in Chiesa and Rio. I could see them being used from the bench regularly which will really help Rio’s development. I was af the last Juve game at Anfield and we made a massive effort to extend the hand of friendship (despite the vast majority of us not being involved). Lots of the Juve fans turned their backs. I think it was a very long time ago, and to be fair there is a lot of context to what went on. They’ve put up banners celebrating Hillsborough, and their fans were far from blameless in what happened at Heysel. Plus obviously if the authorities hadn’t chosen to stage the game in a crumbling death trap of a stadium then nobody would have died at all. Always a theme with football disasters, nobody who makes the decisions that lead to them, or is ultimately to blame goes to jail. I’m absolutely ok with the Chiesa song, there’s no direct mention of Heysel in it, and I don’t like Juve anyway. This is absolutely nothing to do with Heysel.
