Guest sniffer Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 Just seen a short letter in the national press today which says, "How many people remember the name of the Liverpool FC player whose career was ended at Old Trafford by a rogue two-footed tackle by Gary Neville - unnoticed by the officials and by the sports media? The man's leg is still held together with metal pins" I've racked my brains and have come up with zilch. Anyone know who the writer is referring to?
