I dont want to see Wirtz out wide, Gakpo playing, or Macca starting.

Midfield is a concern but that wont change at this stage so Id rather we went for it from the get go.

Rio wide left, Hugo, Mo with Wirtz as the 10. Szovo and Grav in midfield.

Id start Robbo again.

If we can score early.....

Agree with all of that except I don't see any reason not to start Kerkez.

Yeah Im just hopping Robbos experience in games like this makes a difference, not that Kerkez cant play well.

With midfield the way it is, I can’t see them failing to score. We need to take absolutely every chance we get, probably need to score 4 minimum.

nah! I reckon we have to get as close to the team we played against RM as possible and tell the coffee bar is closed til May Day unless they run.

Very different proposition with Hakimi. Loved Robbo today but he might show his age against them on Tuesday.

Yep if we go down then go down swinging.

The only chance we have is if we play like we did for the first 30 minutes of the second half against City... but for the whole 90-120 minutes

Agreed. But then we beat Fulham and I start to dream again. I’d like to think Mo and or Isak have a special moment this season. A defining moment that during a poor season we’ve got a 4-0 Barca memory to smile about.

I'd start Rio. I think there's a danger he doesnt get a kick, but its worth the gamble, but he'll only have a chance if we are able to attack from the off and he gets proper support.

I thought Gakpo did ok yesterday at 9, and I'd be tempted to start him ahead of Ekitike, who has been really poor lately. That said, I'd probably go with Ekitike, but with reservations.

Keeper

Frimpong-Konate-VVD-Robertson

Gravenberch-Szoboslai

Salah-Wirtz-Rio

Ekitike (or Gakpo)

I'd go with that

Gakpo presses better than Ekitike

And it might bring a positive reaction from Ekitike when he's needed in the second half

Mate! They’ll f***ing batter us if we do that. We’ll do that disconnected team s***, which is the closest we come to attacking football, and they’ll run riot.

It's half time, we're two down and they've just battered us. You play your biggest threats and hope for the best. Rio. Ekitike. Mo. Wirtz.

I guess the alternative is playing Mac Allister and leaving out a forward so you try and control midfield.

We’re not 3 or 4 down so we should use that miracle and not leave ourselves exposed

That’s what I would do. The way we played against Madrid should be the template.

It’s probably the only thing keeping them awake, loads of caffeine.
