Grav and Jones with Dom in midfield to get to Caicedo and Bradley at RB. Gakpo, Hugo and Mo up front.

Is Hugo not injured ?
edit: just seen it might be cramp in his hamstring… good news and hopefully that was all it was

God help us, the way we're playing. Not confident about a positive performance let alone a result at this moment in time

This fixture is always tricky for us no matter how well we are playing so its not well timed. Another defeat would be really s*** going into an international break.

Most teams in the league would be hoping to play us right now while we are in this slump. Chelsea will no doubt be looking forward to it.

Like someone else said above… another loss going into an international break would be horrendous.

We are top of the league, not at our best but its worth keeping in my mind.

Stop playing Dom at right back. His presence in midfield is more important.

It was understandable when both of the fullbacks were out, now its redundant.

Chelsea are going to press us high and they'll do a good job at it. Bradley should start, if not him, Gomez at right back but Id give Frimpong time on the bench. He was awful v Soton and he was bad last night.

Id leave Wirtz out. Doesnt warrant a start at the moment. If Chiesa and Ekitike are fit, Id start with them and Salah. We need to get Salah more involved in our games, hes been wasted with minimal touches and almost non existant shots on goal.

Would play Szoboszlai, Mac Allister and Gravenberch in the middle, Bradley and Robbo at full back and Salah, Chiesa and Ekitike (if fit) up front.

Mac has looked as bad as Konate lately.

Agreed but we've got to play someone and I think Wirtz isnt justifying his place.

Grav and Dom need to play, it's a choice of Jones, Macca or Wirtz for the third spot.

Be very surprised if Chiesa goes from unavailable on Tuesday to starting Saturday, even though it was apparently minor.

Chelsea who have lost their last two league games, don't have any CBs available and are without Cole Palmer?

Doesnt matter, A s*** Gala side last night made us make mistakes, Chelsea regardless of who they are missing, will press us high and well and we'll struggle as we have for most of this season whenever thats happened to us.

I watched Barcelona at Newcastle. That’s the standard for passing it out from the back and midfield control.

We have been so far from that.

We need to go back to last season's stuff as much as possible for this.

Wirtz & Frimpong on the bench.

Not bothered about LB - either is fine.

Bradley at RB.

Last season's starting midfield 3 with Gakpo (assuming Chiesa not fit) and Salah wide and either Ekitike or Isak up front.

Dog it out if we have to but we need to fkin win.

If you wanted to pick a time to play us now is the right time. I am sure we will sort it out at some point but we look in complete disarray all over the pitch. Any team would want to play us before we do sort it out as it’s not looking like happening any time soon.
Chelsea still have dangerous players and as you could see last night and against Palace, individual errors from us seem common at the moment and they will be looking at jumping on any chance

They're missing Palmer and Chalobah is suspended but looking over their squad list they still have about 30 players. They can bring in Hato and Lavia for narrative purposes

Weve never been able to handle it that way even under Jurgen. Our way of countering was the pace of Mo,Sadio and the passing from Trent. No we dont have trent, we dont have an out ball, Mo doesnt carry the pace threat anymore, and our build up is a massive problem especially if Grav is marked out

Yeah but I think that is what Slot wants. It’s what the recruitment moved us towards.
