He went into the 2014 World Cup as England’s main striker and I think he would have stayed there which is really saying something considering what Kane became

He was unreal.  With such lavish talent, he could have been anything.  I was particularly fond of him because I'd read a lot about him on a different forum when he was at City's academy, and followed his career until the giddy day we signed him.  So of course that means I had a hand in his successes.

I was really surprised to see him on a clip of the Barca 4-0 game lining up in front of the Kop for YNWA. I don't remember him still being here then

He scored against PSG earlier in the tournament so he even contributed. Plus his injuries paved the way for Origi.
