Ombudsam Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Imagine this lad not being the best striker in your team He’s alive as far as I am aware before anyone panics 2 1
Walrus Posted April 27 Posted April 27 I seem to remember his dog being stolen in LA once Was also a cornerstone of my fantasy football team around 2014 maybe.
Bailo Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Absolutely love him. We've had so many absolutely brilliant players wrecked by injuries.
Dan Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Glad he's not dead. That would have fcked today's vibe up ( and been tragic). 2

kop205 Posted April 27 Posted April 27 I remember him being so much better than I thought he was going to be. He had the absolute lot. Apart from a robust body, obviously. 1
Bogman Posted April 27 Posted April 27 He was absolutely brilliant when fit. Imagine what he could have been without the injuries.

Molby Posted April 27 Posted April 27 hmm I wasn’t really trying to get involved in a race row, just recalling an amusing incident plus, NY gave me some vintage hi fi equipment

He went into the 2014 World Cup as England’s main striker and I think he would have stayed there which is really saying something considering what Kane became 1

Maharajkumar of Vizianagram Posted April 27 Posted April 27 He was unreal. With such lavish talent, he could have been anything. I was particularly fond of him because I'd read a lot about him on a different forum when he was at City's academy, and followed his career until the giddy day we signed him. So of course that means I had a hand in his successes. 2
Gethin Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Great player, the injuries ruined him I was really surprised to see him on a clip of the Barca 4-0 game lining up in front of the Kop for YNWA. I don't remember him still being here then

Bailo Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Noone will ever persuade me Hodgson didn't deliberately wreck him for England as well.
