Against decent sides, Hendo shouldn't be pressing high or running past Salah

Playing two 6s at the weekend would also help counter their tactics for breaking through our offside trap

Thats the question mark - Henderson was deployed as the midfielder to support Jota and press the central area. We were a triangle in midfield when City had the ball deep as Henderson always went to support Jota. It was only when City got to play through us that you seen Henderson back in a 3 man midfield position.

So when we we play on Saturday. Who plays that role. Fabinho plays deep so he plays. Keita is a player that could be asked to shift forward and do the pressing role. If you start with Fabinho (deep) and Keita (licence to press), then we pick between Henderson and Thiago as to who plays the deeper role beside Fabinho.

If that is the equation - then Thiago starts and Henderson is the person to come off the bench to bring tempo in that pressing role if needed.

Is there a case for going with a 4 man midfield, at least at the start, to combat their ability to flood the midfield areas?

Start Firmino alongside last Saturday's 3. Or, have Keita start and have him play higher up like he did at Old Trafford.

Weekends aren't important cos most people don't work them. Only doing your job is important.

Tear up his entire philosophy for 1 match. Is that what you're suggesting?

Klopp has changed shape against these before. Played 4 forwards the last time we played well against them.

No chance I'd do it.

I'm suggesting a tweak to his philosophy at the start of the game, more of a 4-1-2-1-2, than a straight 4-4-2. you would think Pep will stick to his tried and tested approach against us.

5 subs available means that we can change things quickly if it goes pear shaped.

Just a thought.

Kyle Walker went off injured tonight. He looked in alot of pain and was down for about 1-2mins. He then tried to play on for 5mins and went down again and came off. I'd say there is a doubt there.

De Bruyne apparently signaled to come off but there is no mention on Twitter about it being serious.

Hopefully career ending injuries
