By car it's 45 minutes.

Local train. It's basically like Southport from Liverpool.

 

I'm flying Liv-Madrid, night in Madrid, probably grab a hotel in the airport, and then on the 9am to Porto the next morning.

 

3.55pm to Porto to Madrid, then 8.50 Madrid to Liverpool on the Friday.
