14 games left of a miserable season. Kenny seems to have steadied the ship and got the team playing again..

we'll ignore the few dodgy moments against Fulham and Blackpool wink.gif...

He believes we should aim higher.. according to the article on the offal.

How high can we go.. I used the BBC PREDICTOR to work it out..

Stoke H Win

Chelsea A Draw

Wigan H Win

West Ham A Win

Mancs H Win

Sunderland A Draw

West Brom A Win

Man City H Win

Arsenal A Lose

Birmingham H Win

Newcastle H Win

Fulham A Win

Tottenham H Win

A.Villa A Draw

I have got us 5/6th.. really depending on beating Spurs on the second to last game.

I am NOT saying a Champions League place 'IT'S ON'.. before anyone misreads and goes nuts...

I'd like us to win the UEFA.

Can't see it though, we're not very good.

i can see us winning the uefa cup. think given our defence we'll have to outscore a lot of teams though. could be really fun, death or glory s***.

Sixth is about the height of our ambitions now. Don't think this squad is six points better than Spurs over the rest of the season, unless we strengthen significantly.

Catching Sunderland is the target. Christ. That's an incredibly depressing statement.

is just really frustrating how long Hodgson was given to destroy this season! If we'd got rid when Fenway came in and appointed Kenny as a caretaker we could have been comfortably in the top 4.

Depending on who we signed

I think 5/6th is realistic, but who knows. If we get a rhythm of winning going and a couple more players, and everyone else continues with the up and down form, maybe there's a very small chance of squeezing into the top 4. I doubt it though. If we'd sacked Hodgson earlier, we'd have had a much better chance.

Kenny's wild ambition of higher than 7th will have Hodgson turning in the coffin in which he sleeps. Roy would have been suffering vertigo at this point, in an absolute panic at how high we'd climbed.

He's be calling impromptu press conferences to try to dampen expectation, and doing a f*cking good job of it.
